Sensory Room

Passageway has a large room designated as our Sensory Room that includes a swing for students, mats, large bean bags and crashing pads, a tv with an option for music or movies for calming students. It also contains sensory pillows, and other sensory items to aid students in calming their bodies. In addition, there is a treadmill and a stepper to assist students in getting out their kinetic energy as needed. Students are supervised and guided through the equipment while in the sensory room.
